2020 is coming up fast and we want to help you stay up to date with the trendiest interior designs, that will keep your home hip through 2019 and well into 2020. Design trends are tricky, some come and go quickly while and others live on forever.

Here are 7 Interior designs that the experts say are ready to get out of your house.

7. Gallery Walls

20 -piece photo collages on your walls have come to an end. Instead, have a bigger impact with one large photo that wows your guest. A wall full of small photos gets overlooked and fails to make an impression. This year do away with the clutter and make room for the big, impactful art.

6. Industrial Kitchens

The time for cage lights, exposed pipes, and exposed beams in the kitchen is up. Industrial kitchen looks are not the warmest and inviting place for the heart of your home. Make the switch to lush, opulent hues in the kitchen such as deep greens and blues with dark woodwork.

5. Boho Accessories

The macrame wall hangings, the waxy-fake succulents, and your Moroccan lanterns made a good run, but its time is up. If you can’t bring yourself to get rid of the gypsy soul vibe we suggest getting an authentic piece that reflects ethnic tradition, such as a killing rug, and continue building your room around that.

4. Wood Art

Even if you can live, laugh, and love with the best of them, it’s time to take those words
off the wall. All the text wall art hung in the home that’s meant to be positive just turn
out to be a little cheesy.

3. Kitchen Islands

The experts are now sayings that clients are looking to abandon the kitchen island.  We don't blame them! Let's be honest, they are pretty easy to run into in the middle of the night. Instead of the missing island, try situating the dining table closer to the kitchen.

2. Gray Everything

Neutral colors have been the go-to for so long they have started to feel tired out. 2020 is set to be all about the warmer tones and whites. Designers are moving away from the dull palette, and into colors that give the room a relaxing feel.

1. Fur

Lord we know Game of Thrones makes you feel like heading to the nearest Hobby Lobby and picking up a white fur throw. Stop now. Organic textures have overthrown the fur trend. Consider items that give you a home-made feel. This can be anything from a hand-sewn quilt to wicker-lounge chairs.
